Mont Blanc...Aka A Little Slice of Heaven

Quiet honestly, I uploaded the photos first and I can't figure out how to manipulate them. Therefore, I'll be writing this post around the photos--sorry if it gets a bit crazy. But the photos that you see you, my lovely reader, are from a hike I did today (9/21). The hike was to an alpine lake near Mont Blanc.

For those that don't know, Mont Blanc is one of the highest points for skiing in France. And I hiked up it today. That's right. Honestly, my legs feel like they might fall off and I look a bit like a raggedy ann doll, but it was worth it. Every painful step. Every burning sensation in my lungs and legs. Worth it. In fact, I would repeat it all again. That's how beautiful this place was.
These photos are of Matt, Raluca (the girl in the blue shirt), Alex (the guy in the red shirt) and Valentina (the girl in the white shirt) and myself (if you don't know who I am then I don't even know why you are reading this blog...).
The two-person photo here is Valentina (an adorable Italian girl) and myself. Oh yes, those beautiful mountains you see in the photo are even more breath-taking in real life.
So although it was on September, these mountains were covered in snow! In fact, as I give these peaks the name of mountains, I feel like I should retract that name from the Smokey Mnts. Because in comparison? The Smokey Mnts. are like babies when gazing upon these beauties.

I know I've said this before, but please leave me here to happily live out my life.
For real, right now. This is where you need to leave me. THAT VIEW. I have no words (which is rare).

Alright everyone, that's all I have for you today. I know this post probably is crazy to read but I hope it was worth it! I'm having an insanely good time and I hope you all are, too!

  2. The hike took a few hours each way. And seriously! But if you had those mountains in Brownfield you might play too much on them and not work enough!
